Forensic Advantage^® Systems, a leading developer of world class LIMS systems today announced to support Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions) on its Forensic Advantage application platform. Forensic Advantage users who choose to upgrade their operating system to Windows 7 will be able to enjoy improved performance including system boot time and FA application launch times. A reduction in the time required to place the system into and retrieve out of hibernation mode makes “system sleep” more convenient. The new optimization tools also decrease battery usage which allows portable computer users increased “cord-free” time than was possible with Vista and XP thereby enabling staff members improved system usability when roaming the lab or when in the field.
